"A blend of family, a first-generation leap, and a deep, abiding belief in the future of Texas wine."
For me, wine has always been about family. It’s the cornerstone of our get-togethers, a shared passion with my parents, who first introduced me to the world’s great wine regions. T Cellars itself is a heartfelt tribute to my mom, Tina, and a close partnership with my dad.
But until 2021, it wasn’t my career.
That passion, however, eventually became a calling I couldn’t ignore. As a first-generation winemaker, I took the leap: I left my corporate job, returned to school for winemaking, and started from the ground up. I began at Ab Astris Winery in Stonewall, TX, working first in the tasting room, then in the vineyard, and in production, where I learned everything from pruning to fermentation management and barrel aging. By 2022, I was fully immersed in production and in 2023, the first T Cellars vintage was born.
This is a hands-on journey.
T Cellars is intentionally small, with production kept under 300 cases a year. This isn’t a custom-crush project, and there are no consultants. It’s just me, working one-on-one with the fruit, involved in every single decision, from the moment the fruit arrives from the vineyard to the moment it’s bottled.
That intentional, small-batch approach is driven by a bigger mission: to elevate Texas wine. I get the question all the time: “Oh, Texas makes wine?” My answer is in these bottles. I use 100% Texas-grown fruit, not just to promote our unique terroir, but to actively debunk the old myths about Texas wines.
T Cellars is my story
A blend of family, a first-generation leap, and a deep, abiding belief in the future of Texas wine. I’m so proud to share it with you.
